Photos play an important role in our life. They connect us to our past and remind us of people, places, feelings, and stories. Photos tell us who we are. A picture is an untold story in itself, which narrates countless emotions without speaking. The invention of photography is nothing less than magic, it cherishes the precious moments so that we can always remember them and rejoice. This day is dedicated to those people who captured the rarest pictures in their cameras and made them memorable forever. World Photography Day is celebrated to encourage all photographers and photography professionals around the world. At present photography is a complete art in itself, for which books have been written and it is also studied. There are many styles in photography, not every photo fits perfectly into one style.
World Photography Day Quotes
World Photography Day was started on 9 January 1839 in France. France’s Nicofour Nieps and Louis Daguerre developed a photography process called the daguerreotype process; the first photography process in the world. On 19 August 1839, the French government purchased this patent and made it available for public use free of charge. For this reason, World Photography Day is celebrated every year on 19th August. The credit for celebrating World Photography Day and providing it with an international platform goes to Canberra’s famous photographer Corsk Ara. He officially started the day on 19 August 2010, which was attended by only 250 people at that time. Currently, more than 500 million people are connected to this platform and share their stories through their photographs.
